In his series Blak Superheroes, proud Yuwi, Torres Strait Islander and Australian-born South Sea Island man, Dylan Mooney depicts First Nations characters in a dynamic comic-book style.
Incorporating a combination of drawing, printmaking and street art, Dylan’s work is inspired by history, culture and community. He is a leader in the medium of digital illustration and creates characters that reflect the LGBTQIA+ community, while always referencing the strength and continuation of culture.3of 3 -
